This paper deals with two aspects:
Firstly this paper discusses the means of expound that philosophy is
the universal means of human thinking. As universal means of thinking, this
function of philosophy is determined by the philosophical contents.
Secondly, this paper discusses the function played by the philosophical
way of thinking in the scientific cognition. It provides with the function of
the orientation for the advancement, the critical spirit and the means for
bringing forth new ideas to the scientific cognition. The new discoveries in science needs philosophical summarization, enlightenment and prediction. Through the explanation to the factual materials by way of philosophical thinking we shall provide the scientific explanation with a train of thought, a principle and a way of handling things. |
